Aseda Host operates on a privacy-first principle. We deploy only strictly necessary cookies required for essential platform operations. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking beacons.

• Session Cookie (asedahost_session): A strictly necessary cookie that identifies your active browsing session. It keeps you authenticated when you sign in, maintains your ticket selection during checkout, and preserves your event management context. It expires automatically when you log out, or after two (2) hours of inactivity.
• CSRF Token (XSRF-TOKEN): A mandatory security cookie designed to protect your account against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). It ensures that form actions (such as voting, updating event details, or purchasing tickets) originate genuinely from you and not from an unauthorized third-party site.

3. Payment Gateway Redirection (Hubtel)

When purchasing tickets or casting paid votes, you are redirected to our licensed payment aggregator, Hubtel Ghana. During this external checkout step, Hubtel deploys its own encrypted transaction cookies to securely authorize Mobile Money prompts and card payments. Aseda Host does not set, access, or store financial cookies or payment credentials.

4. Managing & Disabling Cookies

Most modern web browsers allow you to modify cookie settings via your browser's preferences or privacy menu:

• You may configure your browser to reject third-party cookies or notify you whenever a cookie is dispatched.
• Important Notice: Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from completing ticket purchases, casting authenticated votes, or logging in to your Organizer Dashboard.
